Watered-Down Liberty
by DCDave

Of our rugged independence
And distinctiveness we're proud,
Still we find most folks afraid
To stand out from the crowd.

Dodging bullets overseas
I know is plenty tough,
But not so bad as being called
A "Foster-murder buff."

Why risk ones life for liberty?
Don't we realize
A freedom isn't worth too much
That we don't exercise?
